About The Ministry & History

Faith Open Door Ministries Inc. was founded upon the principle of Faith. The vision is to build a distinctly different church in the City of Toronto, where people can be taught and given an example of holiness, excellence and integrity. The goal is to reach those who are lost and hurt with the message of love and faith; helping them to experience the true love of Christ in facing and overcoming the challenges of life.

After seeking the Lord for direction, the Lord revealed the word that has become the vision of Faith Open Door Ministries Inc., “Behold I place before you an open door and no man can shut it”. Rev. 3:8. September 2003, Bishop James Robinson yielded to the word of God and started Faith Open Door Ministries Inc.

The first service was held at the Howard Johnson hotel, located in Toronto. Membership consists of Bishop’s family and 10 other individuals. 2004, the church relocated to 2 Armel Court, Etobicoke at which time they became a fully registered and incorporated charitable organization, recognized by the province of Ontario. While settling, the spirit of God continued to move it was evident as membership began to grow; there were many baptisms, marriages, births and baby dedications.

In July 2007, due to the rapid growth of Faith Open Door Ministries Inc. Sunday services had to be relocated to The Mount Olive Seventh-Day Adventist at 1030 Albion Road, Etobicoke. Shortly thereafter, the Lord pressed upon Bishop to relocate to St. Basil High School. That venue was also a temporary location.

October 2010, God blessed Faith Open Door Ministries Inc. with a new home located at 920 Caledonia Road unit 4. This continues to be the home of Faith Open Door Ministries Inc.

Our Objectives

The central objective is to develop young people of purpose, prayer, power, praise and prosperity and fulfilling the mandate by teaching the reality of the gospel in a simplistic fashion with daily application; giving men an opportunity to be reconciled to the Lord.

Our goal is to teach God’s Holy Word in an uncompromising fashion, by demonstrating love for one another, caring and praying for each other and fulfilling the Kingdom principles. Faith Open Door Ministries Inc. will provide an opportunity for man’s redemption.
